General Dentistry & Specializations

Dental Care Utrecht offers a wide range of dental treatments. In addition to general dentistry, such as the biannual check-up or a visit to one of our dental hygienists or prevention assistants, you can also come to us for various specialized treatments. Many patients are referred to us by fellow dentists. We have an endodontist, an implantologist, and a periodontist in-house. You can also visit our practice for orthodontics.

Oral Hygiene

A healthy mouth and a beautiful smile start with prevention. To keep your mouth healthy, proper oral hygiene is essential. Brushing alone is often not enough to remove all dental plaque. That’s why we recommend regular visits to one of our dental hygienists or prevention assistants. They will professionally clean your teeth and remove stains, plaque, and tartar. They will also provide advice and instructions on how to best care for your teeth at home.

Cavities (Caries)

Cavities (caries) and tooth decay are treated with fillings. A filling is designed to restore a damaged tooth. The dentist first removes the decayed area, then thoroughly cleans the cavity and fills it. This prevents further decay and restores your tooth. Almost all of our fillings are made of composite. In some cases, however, another material may be preferred.

Orthodontics

In addition to dentistry, we also provide orthodontic treatments. We work closely with a team of orthodontists, who carry out and evaluate treatments together with us. At Dental Care Utrecht, we use both aligner techniques and fixed appliances.

Gnathology

At Dental Care Utrecht, you can also come to us for gnathology, which focuses on treating jaw joint disorders, teeth grinding, and chewing problems. Our specialists create a personalized treatment plan, such as a custom-made splint or therapy, to relieve your symptoms and restore balance in your chewing system.
